The Role

Designalytics is seeking motivated and analytically minded early-career professionals for multiple openings as Research Analysts. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience (including relevant internships) to apply and grow their skills in quantitative research, consumer behavior, and data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

    • Program and quality-assure surveys and data collection tools, ensuring accuracy, validity, and respondent logic.
    • Monitor fielding and data collection, making real-time decisions to support successful study completion.
    • Analyze quantitative consumer data to uncover patterns in shopper perception and behavior.
    • Interpret scanner (sales) data (e.g., from IRI or Nielsen) to determine representative SKUs and identify market trends.
    • Curate and publish data-rich reports that turn complex findings into digestible, actionable insights for clients.
    • Develop category recommendations that integrate quantitative insights from shopper, manufacturer, and retailer perspectives.
    • Support shelving strategy and navigation insights using behavioral and numeric data.
    • Collaborate with product and ops teams to enhance automation and efficiency in data processing and reporting.

Stretch Opportunities (as you grow)

    • Own end-to-end quantitative research projects, from survey design to final report delivery.
    • Conduct meta-analyses across categories to identify industry trends and insights.
    • Publish whitepapers, blog posts, or present at industry conferences to share your findings.
    • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, such as improving field operations, scaling automation, or supporting global research models.
